I have run up to 5 destination drives at once on my system For a couple days I managed 2 RED Dragons, 1 RED Epic, 2 RED One’s and 3 GoPro 4k's with no issues of running short of media due to the speed of my system. The shoot was primarily 2 RED Dragons during the entire shoot. I recently wrapped a 31 day Feature Film for Pure Flix Entertainment on October 31, 2014. I have no problems what so ever of managing multiple cameras or large amounts of data with my system. I do not drag and drop media files to "Data Manage" SilverStack also creates customizable Daily reports of any offload activity, media contents, etc. It not only writes to multiple destinations at once it can checksum verify the contents of the offloads. Mounted to the Inovativ Echo 48" DIT Cart are 2 Dell 4K Moniters, 1- 24" & 1 - 32".Īll offloading of and management of any cameras media is done through Pomforts SilverStack Software. My working Drive is a Maxx Digital Thunderbolt 2 24TB ThunderRaid 2, 8 bay RAID capable of read/write speeds of 1000mbs set at RAID 5. I am able to provide Transcodes & Dailies normally within 45 minutes of camera wrap.Īlso included in the system rack on the cart is the following:ġ - BlackMagic Ultra Studio 4K Recorder that can record video directly to the systems RAID Drive.ġ - Blackmagic TB2 Multidock that can read 2.5" hard drives or be setup as an additional RAID array.ġ - 17" Blackmagic Smartview 1080HD monitor with pass through SDI for viewing any video feed being recorded. I can custom configure the server chassis to any unique or specific workflow.
